We were hired to create a cover for this new literary journal’s first print issue. The stories inside are surreal, dark, and a bit unusual, so we tried to carry that over to the cover by incorporating some creepy mannequins.

MudLusciousPress.com

We were commissioned by our friends at Mud Luscious Press to redesign their website in a pinch. They were in the midst of an overhaul and ran into some trouble. So, using some of the ideas of their founder, J.A. Tyler, and incorporating a bit of our own flair, we updated mudlusciouspress.com with a shiny new coat of paint and an easy-to-use WordPress CMS backend.

Books in Black

This giclĂ©e print poster was designed for the Books in Black art exhibit of handmade books at the National Museum of Catholic Art and History in New York. The artwork is by R. Gregory Christie, one of the exhibit’s contributors.

Keyhole Books

Keyhole Books is an innovative and exciting small press based in Nashville, TN. For several years now they’ve managed to put out a magazine, an iPhone app, and several incredibly good books. We were fortunate enough to be involved in one of them. How They Were Found is the debut short story collection–a darkly comic compilation of history, mystery, fiction, and magic–from Matt Bell, a really talented and wonderful writer that you’re going to hear a lot about. Guaranteed.

Press 53

A few years back we were approached to design the cover of Visiting Hours, a fantastic anthology of stories tied together by coming and going, and the waiting in between. Its publisher, Press 53, is a stalwart of the small press community, consistently putting out great book after great book. It was very exciting to work on a project for them.
